Terms
Last updated 22 October 2026
These are the rules for using Copper. By making an account or using the app, you agree to them. Copper is in beta, so things may change, break or go offline while we build it.
Who can use Copper
You need to be 13 or older. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian needs to be OK with you using Copper. Teachers who add students are responsible for having permission to do so.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself, and stick to one account per person. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
Your stuff
The notes, files and answers you add stay yours. You let us store and process them, including sending them to the AI services in our Privacy page, only to run Copper for you. Only upload things you have the right to share.
AI can be wrong
Lessons, hints and tutor replies are written by AI. They are usually right but not always, so double-check anything important and don't rely on Copper for medical, legal or financial decisions.
Please don't
Spam, harass or share anything harmful or illegal.
Try to break, overload or get around the limits of the app.
Cheat in leagues or leaderboards, or use bots.
Use Copper to do someone else's graded work for them.
XP, coins and rewards
They're just for fun. They have no money value and can't be sold or swapped for cash.
Ending things
You can stop using Copper any time and ask us to delete your account. We may pause or close accounts that break these rules.
The legal bit
Copper is provided as is, without promises that it will always work or be error free. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it. If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top.
